Hey Oppo, its part 8000 of talk with noise about work vehicles. I’m goldbricking pretty hard at
work today so I wanted to indulge in my favorite time waster of thinking about future plant path mobiles. Its all about cargo space, off road prowess, and an enclosed but rugged cargo area, since i’ve got instruments and samples i don't want out in the open, but also often haul tools and samples that are dirty and abrasive. Pictured is a classic ride and spray trailer from the romantic days of old. Still want a 4wd merc van like we talked about the other day but it seems not to be for the states...

Bring one of these over. You’re not going to use it on the road anyway right?
or maybe something with more style:

Depending on what state you are in you might be able to register it as a slow moving vehicle (granted you don’t exceed 20 or 25 depending on your local laws).

Yeah actually everywhere I would travel to (New England and NY) they can be registered and put on the road, but the inability to use highways or exceed the speed of my moped would unfortunately limit my range and therefore my ability to do the job...

Get a car dolly and tow it behind your regular car when you need to go long distances! (~)~

The other option is just buy one that is 25 years old and register it as a normal vehicle. I know of a place here in Texas that imports a lot of old ones for that reason.

Giant Enclosed Cargo Space
Offroad Capability
Durable
Well, now that that’s settled, off to something else...

They have one of these, not lifted however, up at a potato farm I work with occasionally.
I covet that thing in an ungodly way

They are surprisingly cheap these days, should be able to find one in 2500 too if you want something more heavy duty. Love these trucks, I always have.
